First of all, their radio ads are pretty catchy. Sakae Sushi, Sakae Sushi, Sakae Sushi. Haha. So I visited them after getting an RM10 voucher from Paradigm Mall.
The coolest thing about Sakae Sushi is that you can order directly from an iPad, which is available on every table. And it works pretty well too. Simply click on what you'd like, confirm, then someone will send it over once it's done. Pretty neat, huh? You can take your own sweet time looking at the menu, without some waiter impatiently standing over your shoulder.
As for the food, it's pretty good. At least better than the 'king' of sushi chains. As always, the selection on the sushi trains aren't always fresh, so it's better to order new ones (and pay a little more).
I also had rice with chicken teriyaki. Quite a decent meal.
The place itself is simple, clean, vibrant, and inviting. Although, due to the weird architecture of Paradigm, it may be a little bit hard to find (hint: it's on the outside of the mall).
Keep an eye out for promos. They seem to run promos every now and then. I think they also have their own membership card as well.
