18 hungry golfers dined there on Tuesday (22/01/2013) after a round of game at Perangsang Templer Golf Course nearby.
The pork ribs were meaty and delicious with very little fat.
The Crispy skim pork knuckle was also very tasty, and not as fatty as you might expect from this dish.
The herbal steamed chicken was succulent and fell off the bone.
The broccoli was lightly steamed and deliciously crunchy.
The vegetable curry came last and long after the rice arrived (a criticism), but was delicious and well worth waiting for.
Prawns were ordered and were expensive at over RM100. I am not a fan of prawns, as I think they are highly overrated, and their taste is totally dependant on how (and with what) they are cooked.
Carlsberg beer was RM15 a large bottle, but the only glasses supplied with the beer were small 'tea glasses'! If one ordered a fruit juice in came in a Carlsberg (half pint) glass or mug! Apparently they did not have enough of these bigger glasses for 18 people!! They need to speak to the Brewery!!
The bill was RM1,100 (RM260 of which was drinks), which makes this venue a tad expensive.
Service generally was a bit slow, but apart from that all 18 diners enjoyed the experience, and parking was no problem at all.
