O'Briens
O’Briens, a popular sandwich chain originating in Ireland, has had a presence in Malaysia for a decade—the first outlet was opened in 2002. Today, there are a total of 11 O’Briens outlets all around the Klang Valley, including one in the KLIA international terminal. O’Briens serves a wide variety of sandwiches and other bread dishes such as burgers, ciabatta, and also coffee, tea, smoothies, and juices. They also serve set meals, as well as sandwiches made to order! This enables you to choose your favourite ingredients to be added into your sandwich. O’Briens cafes and restaurants have a very comfortable and laid back ambience—it’s the perfect place for you to kick back and unwind, or even do some quiet reading or light work while enjoying some coffee or sandwiches.

My mom loves their TRIPLEDECKER. Usually go in the mornings to eat when pretty much every other restaurant in 1U isn't open for business yet. Although it's a lil pricey at around rm20 inc tax but it can be shared by 2 (smaller eaters or maybe girls/women). The only odd thing I find bout O'Briens is their chips. Sandwhich is supposed to be healthy (and theirs do feel healthier than others somewhat) but with the potato chips at the side with the sandwhich, feels like it defeats the healthy purpose haha that being said, nice chips! I usually just plonk it in between my sandwhich before I start eating!
Ordered Chicken,Crisp,Lettuce & Tomato, while the food tasted okay, but it is definitely not worth the price. The filling and ingredients for the sandwich is normal and one can make it on your own at home, with 1/4 of the price, or even cheaper! And sorry to say, the staff is also not friendly. As it was my first time there, i don't know what to order and need some recommendation. The staff isn't being helpful at all. Certainly my first and last visit. The place is also small, i have to wait for a place to sit.
I'm not a Sandwich lover but their Sandwich make me wanna try again. Their lunch set was huge!! One word...NICE...:)
The first time i went in..i totally puzzled and dont know which one to choose...Thanks to their friendly staff, i manage to get a very yummy sandwich. I get a chicken slice and other things(that i forgot..hehe)..but trust me..it's delicious..and i love the bread too!! And most of all..you can get a Wi fi and surf over the internet while you're having your sandwich there..I definetely will come here again!
My first dish was Classic Caesar Salad with Parmesan, chicken, chicken crisp, crouton, olive, mixed leaves and caesar dressing. It was really impressive as they are using freshest premium ingredients. What's the difference between other Caesar salad I've tasted and this caesar salad is it has chicken crisp! Something crispy and salty to chew has transformed my thoughts. beside that, I had a fresh Mango Tango. It totally refresh my day and I don't feel so depressed anymore hahaha.
Packed with office crowd and college students during lunch. The queue was long! So, it was a bad idea to go in lunchtime. Perhaps, other times, the place maybe not so crowded. Other than that, love the sandwiches especially their signature, the Big Club. Their crew are pretty awesome. Greetings and smiles everywhere. : )
Healthy quick sandwiches before fly-off. Love them so much. Friendly staff, too. Unfortunately, need to go pass the international departure terminal with security pass, just to eat sandwich. Hmmm..
Went there and impressed by how friendly the staff were. Greetings, smiles and quick service. Really impressed. Had a couple of their signature sandwiches and they were amazing. Brought friends along and now they're hooked with the sandwiches.
O Briens serves good sandwiches and you can usually find one in malls The sandwich selection is big and I've only eaten half of their menu. My favourite is the chicken slice (Tuesday set!). The shambo bread is like a thick toasted pita. Good choice when I'm in the mood for crispy toasted breads This outlet can fill up during lunch on weekends but service is still quite fast. But they need to be quicker about cleaning tables when it's crowded Expect your bill to be 20+ for a lunch set, 30 if you order individually with a drink
was having a huge craving when was at empire and remembered I haven't had O'Briens in a while now. The prices are not that expensive cause they now have like a daily promo on different sandwiches, I only spent RM13 on set meal with a sandwich and an ice blended beverage, environment was very nice and most importantly the staffs were friendly helping me out cause I forgot you can choose toppings for your sandwich.
O'Briens seriously makes some of the most delicious sandwiches. The best part is that they have so many kinds, and if there's something you'd like to change (the sauce, etc), they would gladly do it for you. It's great when you're in a hurry and don't have time to sit down for a meal. Only downside is that it's pretty pricey. Paying close to RM20 for a sandwich isn't something most Malaysians (including me, most of the time) can afford, unfortunately.
